Tuttosport: Milan to work on renewal of star defender plus Kessie as PSG register interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not just working on the renewal of Franck Kessie and instead they are looking to tie down another star player for the long term.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that the adjustment of Theo Hernandez’s contract is on the agenda of the Milan management. The French full-back has become one of the strengths of Pioli’s team and earns around €2m net per season at present, having proven to be worthy of more.

Theo cost €22m to sign from Real Madrid two years ago and has a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2024 and several clubs have expressed interest in signing him, especially PSG where Leonardo is a great admirer of his and is ready to offer him a top contract.

This is why Milan will soon have to talk to his agent and adjust the salary to prove that he is one of the most important players moving forward. A meeting with Manuel Garcia Quilon, Theo’s agent, will soon be included in the agenda of Maldini and Massara. The Frenchman has never hidden that he is very happy at Milan, for his part.
