Tuttosport: Milan told that Arsenal and Real Madrid target has had price cut by €25m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been told that they could seal a deal for midfield target Marc Roca for a price €25m lower than his release clause, a report claims.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Roca over the past few weeks, and Espanyol’s relegation to the second tier of Spanish football appears to have confirmed that the 23-year-old will seek new pastures this summer.

Mundo Deportivo (via MilanNews) recently mentioned that Arsenal are keen on a move for Roca, while another Spanish source in TodoFichajes added that Real Madrid are considering a hijack.

According to Wednesday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have a concrete interest in signing Roca in the upcoming summer window as they want to reinforce the midfield ahead of next season.

No official offers have yet been made but the economic demands of the Catalan club have dropped considerably as they know nobody will pay the €40m release clause in Roca’s contract. Instead, at €15-16m the deal can be done.

  1. This is the most realistic option. Tonali is too good to act as reserve and Florentino is too expensive to sit on the bench. Roca for 15m will be a great backup for Kessie-Bennacer duo.

But checkout Alkmaar’s koopmeiners, if available at the same price he might be the better option.
