Tuttosport: Milan want a deputy to Ibrahimovic – Real Madrid striker remains the dream

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are on the lookout for potential options to become the new deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and have not given up on Luka Jovic.

The hope is that Ibrahimovic will be able to give Milan over 40 games across all competitions next season, but given that he will turn 39 and there is not currently a natural centre-forward to replace him, the management are moving to secure some depth.

According to Saturday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have a ‘forbidden dream’ to try and address the issue and he is called Luka Jovic.

Relations with Real Madrid are very good, as seen by the Brahim Diaz operation, and an attempt has been made in recent weeks to try and convince Los Blancos to part with Jovic.

However, the operation appears complicated and the road is uphill, though it could be a situation that unlocks later in the market.
