Tuttosport: Milan want star winger back for either Celtic or Roma as Inter absence looks likely

By Oliver Fisher -

Ante Rebic looks almost certain to miss the derby against Inter this weekend, but AC Milan are reportedly hoping to have him back for two other crucial games.

Saturday’s clash with Inter appears to be arriving just a bit too soon for Rebic, who has been out since the 2-0 win over Crotone due to an elbow dislocation. There is not much optimism regarding a full recovering for the game against the Nerazzurri, but a test in the next 24 hours will be the final decided.

Pioli and his staff do not want to force his return in order to avoid future relapses and therefore we will act with the utmost caution. According to Tuttosport (via MilanPress), the target will be for the Croatia international to return for either the next league match against Roma or the Europa League groups stage opener against Celtic if he doesn’t make the game against Inter.
