AC Milan are serious about signing Santos striker Kaio Jorge and have made an offer for the teenager, according to a report.

Jorge has a contract expiring on December 31st and inevitably has attracted the attention of many teams given that a renewal seems far from imminent, and Milan have been intensely linked with the Brazil youth international given their desire to sign a young striker that would compliment the experienced Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Milan are very serious about signing Kaio Jorge and have made an offer of €7m to beat the competition and immediately bring him to Milanello. There is no shortage of interested teams like Juventus and Napoli, but Milan want to close the deal this week.

Then, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be able to focus on other areas that need reinforcement including a deputy right-back, a fourth central midfielder, a new right winger and a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.
