Tuttosport: Milan will target three more signings if they reach the Europa League group stages

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will look to complete their squad with three new signings if they make it through to the Europa League group stages, a report claims.

According to Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), qualification for the group stage of the Europa League would push Milan to invest again. Otherwise, with only the league (and the Italian Cup) to be played, it would become almost useless to further strengthen the squad.

A midfielder will arrive, and it will be one of Tiemoue Bakayoko (who remains on pole), Florentino Luis or Boubakary Soumarè, unless there are any last minute surprises.

For the rest, as mentioned, we will have to wait for the Europa League qualifiers. If passage to the group stages were secured, Maldini and Massara would go in search of a central defender and a reinforcement at right-back.

Furthermore, the Rossoneri would also need an alternative to Ibrahimovic, and the management are evaluating different profiles.

In short, it is three matches for three signings: Stefano Pioli knows that participation in the Europa League group stage can guarantee him an even more competitive team.
