Tuttosport: Milan’s scouting team recommend €15-20m Senegal midfielder to Maldini

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s scouting department have once again set their eyes on France and have a young Metz midfielder in the viewfinder, a report claims.

Milan’s owners have so far preferred a recruitment strategy centered around buying young players with high potential to develop and record capital gains on the balance sheet. Recent recruits like Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer, Sandro Tonali and Jens Petter Hauge among others are a testament to the fact that Geoffrey Moncada and the scouting/data team always have their eye on emerging talent.

As reported this morning by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Milan scouting team have put a new profile on the table for directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara in Pape Sarr, an 18-year-old Metz midfielder. The young Senegalese talent has a rather high value of between €15m and €20m, having played 22 times in Ligue 1 last season, scoring three goals.

  1. Wow Pape Sarr an 18 year old midfielder for 20m, Who the fuck is this he can go and fuck himself or fuck his agent.

    1. What does his agent have to do with the price? He’s under contract to Metz and they can determine their valuation of him. In a market where English clubs can and will pay this for emerging talent, they may well aim high – I bet a lot of clubs are kicking themselves for not paying a similar amount for Camavinga a year ago.
