Tuttosport: Mourinho has a plan in mind to neutralise Milan’s dangerous left flank

AS Roma and AC Milan will square off at the Stadio Olimpico tonight in a game that could be vital in the race for the top four, if either team get the win.

As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports this morning, Roma boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be thinking of a ‘cage’ with which to create difficulties for the strong point of Milan: the left flank.

It is no secret that the majority of the danger created by Milan comes from the duo of winger Rafael Leao and left-back Theo Hernandez, which is why the Giallorossi head coach is thinking about how to combat their explosive pace and creativity.

The idea is to play Zeki Celik on the right in place of Nicola Zalewski, with the former Chelsea boss believing that the Turk is more suited to trying to limit Leao’s physicality and the trio of centre-backs behind – Mancini, Kumbulla and Ibanez – will give him a hand.
