Tuttosport: Musah, Reijnders, Florentino and more – Milan’s potential Tonali replacements

By Oliver Fisher -

The sale of Sandro Tonali means that AC Milan must now look to rebuild their midfield department and there are a number of names being targeted, a report claims.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Davide Frattesi is the name at the top of the list and CEO Giorgio Furlani began talks yesterday, and it seems to be a battle with Roma who have a 20% resale clause which could function as a discount.

Inter were in pole position to buy the Italy international but without the sale of Marcelo Brozovic – which is slow in coming – they do not have the funds to fully close the Frattesi deal.

In addition to Frattesi, Milan are keen Tijjani Reijnders of AZ Alkmaar, Yunus Musah of Valencia and Florentino Luis of Benfica, who is an old target but his asking price is currently around €40m. PSV’s Ibrahim Sangaré is on the list too, so there is no shortage of options.

  1. Btw. you can reach Moncada her geoffrey.moncada(at)acmilan.com. Furlani’s personal gmail is this giorgiofu(at)gmail.com . Let them know what you think.

    1. This is the third time I’ve seen you post this and I have to say you’ve convinced me. Trolling Milan management is our only hope 🙏 (🤣)

    2. back in the amiga days i sometimes made viruses for the heck of it but never let them loose, sounds like the right time to pick that occupation up again 😀 just kidding that i will make and send him one

      1. You mean the guy commenting here? He is irrelevant, I don’t bother with people like that except for spitting on him in the comments every once in a while, for fun.

      2. 😭😭😭😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
        Not even a peep
He’s probably concocting a way to spin this into Maldini’s fault. I can’t wait to see what he has in mind

        1. Nope, both I and @Poli are not in favor of signing Thuram. The only difference is that he made a claim that Furlani is already better than Maldini because Furlani managed to convince Thuram. Just to be clear, I am not against Furlani but he still need to gain experience in this matter.

    3. Well what else can you do? If you don’t have 2 billion€ there is nothing else. You can at least tell them what you think of their work. I’ll give you some more contacts you can use:
      Furlani – gfurlani(at)mba2007.hbs.edu
      Cardinale – gcardinale(at)redbirdcap.com,
      redbirdgc(at)gmail.com, gcardinale(at)bdtcap.com

      1. As if they’re ever going to read an email from Karen, sorry “Martin” in their inbox. It’s your time and energy I guess…

        1. As if Cardinale doesn’t have an assistant who deals with all his emails. 😀 😀 😀

But sure, please email them and get back to us with their responses. We’ll be waiting. 😀

        2. dejan, why do you have such stupid sarcasm every time? I know you can’t buy intelligence but it is a bit annoying to have to reply to stupid things like this. Buy a brain. I don’t give a f what you think.

  2. My God! Just reading these names makes me sick to my stomach!
As they’d written a title in my country yesterday, “Milan has turned into a farmers’ club!”

  3. These names are like you’re looking at who to get for a backup of a backup, 4th or 5th choice. Some of them are so talented that no one is interested in them.

    1. I hope I am wrong, but that guy Florentino Luis went on some loans in Spain and France which were a fail, he is back at Benfica after both. No one really wanted to sign him…

  4. As much as I hated Kessie for leaving the way he did and played us, I think a one year loan could be the solution here.

Look, we lost Tonali and Bennacer for half a season. From experience, it’s NOT easy to interpret how Pioli wants his players to play – and as the result, it usually took more than one season for a player to get acclamatized.

So, bringing his Kessie back makes a perfect sense to me, at least he would know what Pioli ideas are.
