AC Milan winger Ante Rebic looks set to miss the derby against Inter on Saturday as he has not yet recovered from his elbow injury.
The Croatia international has been out since the 2-0 win over Crotone, when he took a tumble and dislocated his elbow forcing him to miss the last two matches against Rio Ave and Spezia.
As reported by the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Rebic has undergone therapy and on Thursday he will undergo new tests on the injury, but there is pessimism filtering regarding his availability to face the Nerazzurri because they do not want to worsen the injury.
In all likelihood, head coach Stefano Pioli will have to do without the former Eintracht Frankfurt man in a showpiece fixture in which he scored last season, but there is no lack of solutions. Rafael Leao, Brahim Diaz and Alexis Saelemaekers can all play that role on the left adequately.
