Tuttosport: Pioli tasked with enhancing the talent of Romero upon Milan arrival

By Euan Burns -

Stefano Pioli is going to have a project on his hands when Lazio youngster Luka Romero signs for the club in the coming days, a report highlights.

As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Italian youngster is going to arrive at Milan soon on a four-year deal and it will be up to Pioli to get the best out of him.

He is an undoubtedly talented attacking midfielder but Maurizio Sarri and Lazio clearly didn’t see enough from him to make him worth keeping, even at just 18 years old.

It will be a big jump in quality for Romero to suddenly be a part of the senior setup at Milan but he is expected to have a good level of involvement in the first team, especially if Milan struggle to sign other attacking midfielders.

He scored 230 goals in 108 games for the Mallorca youth team before he moved to Lazio.

          1. Thank you, someone whom understands that football clubs are just like a regular business (they still need to be profitable). We do not have Big tv money, or our own stadium that pumping us cash to spend.
People seems to forget that prior to Elliot, this team had a lot of debts that needed to be paid off and we still tip toeing around UEFA regulations.
