AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is surpassing targets that even he thought were probably not attainable, as Monday’s edition of Tuttosport notes.
The paper (via MilanLive) notes how Pioli has been the Milan coach for 43 games having won 25 of those games, drawing 12 and losing just six. In total, the winning percentage is an impressive 58.14% – the highest percentage in his coaching career in fact.
With Inter, in 27 games, he finished with 51.85%. At Lazio – which was probably his best spell before arriving at Milan – he registered a 48.35% winning percentage, but over 91 games.
At Fiorentina he struggled with 36.49% in 74 games, and finally at Bologna he won 32.99% of 92 matches.
It must be considered as well that Pioli did not have the best start to life as Milan boss having joined with a very difficult fixture list facing him immediately. The club have lost just twice in 2020 and have won 17 of their last 21 games across all competitions, so that percentage just keeps going up.
