AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has been left studying the solutions as he could be without both his right wingers for the game against Benevento.
It emerged yesterday that Alexis Saelemaekers has suffered a problem with his thigh muscle that needs further evaluation, and Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports how Milan’s 2021 will begin under the banner of emergency.
Saelemaekers was added to the list of injured players and the Belgian winger will be out for ten days due to an injury to the rectus femoris muscle of his left thigh.
Not only that, but Samu Castillejo is also in doubt for the match against Benevento as he trained separately yesterday after an injury he picked up against Lazio.
The paper adds that in the event that both are missing, Brahim Diaz is the first choice to step in and play on the right side.
