AC Milan may not collect the guaranteed cash sum they were hoping for even if Lucas Paqueta completes a move to Lyon, a report claims.
As Monday’s edition of Tuttosport reports (via MilanLive), it is absolutely no secret now that Paquetà is now outside of the Milan project, and the fact he wasn’t named in the squad to face Crotone is a big indicator of that.
The Rossoneri want to sell the Brazilian and the most interested club are Lyon. The two clubs are studying the right formula for the transfer, and at the moment the formula appears to be a paid loan with an option or an obligation to buy, with the latter more likely.
Lyon at the moment want to sell a player first to make way for Paquetà and the main suspect to leave is Houssem Aouar, who is wanted by Arsenal. Milan expects to collect at least €22-23million from the sale of the former Flamengo man.
Paquetà – who got off to a good start in his adventure at Milan – has now found himself essential ostracised at Milan but could find his compatriot Juninho at Lyon.
