Tuttosport: Rabiot heads for vacation – he will pick between Milan and Galatasaray

By Oliver Fisher -

Adrien Rabiot is currently a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired on June 30, and AC Milan seem to be one of two potential destinations for him.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Juve offered him a renewal but an agreement was not reached and so it seems increasingly likely that his time in Turin has already come to an end.

So where will his future be? The 29-year-old is currently on vacation after playing the European Championship with France, who got knocked out in the semi-final by Spain, so he will take time to make his decision.

He is in the sights of Milan who have already had contact with his mother-agent Veronique to understand if there is room for an agreement. However, the paper states that Turkey are an option and in particular Galatasaray, who want to respond to Mourinho’s media campaign at Fenerbahce.

Just a few days ago, the same Turin-based source claimed that several other clubs were surveying his situation, with Real Madrid the main challengers to the Rossoneri.

They added that Liverpool and Bayern Munich remain in the wings waiting for developments, but these could just have been agent leaks to try drum up more interest.

  1. Honestly for Rabiot I think we should wait. I don’t see him as a priority, he is without a club but his demands are too high.
Maybe by the end of the summer, if he still didn’t find a club, he’ll be willing to negociate a cheaper salary. If he did find a club, big deal, we have enough ball carriers as it is.
