Ralf Rangnick was set to meet with Gordon Singer of Elliott Management to finalise his move to AC Milan but has been unable to do so.
That is according to Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive), which gives the latest updates on the Rangnick saga by claiming that – without sensational twists and turns – the German is expected to become Milan’s new coach for next season.
The current Red Bull Football co-ordinator is currently in a waiting position. The Coronavirus emergency has slightly upset plans: Rangnick was set to meet Singer to finalise the deal, but the meeting has obviously been delayed.
In this meeting they were set to touch on the summer transfer market and the project, and the paper warns that if the delays continue and things continue to be difficult, Stefano Pioli’s stay as head coach cannot be excluded.
Pioli meanwhile to closely follow the individual training of the players in video-conference.
