Tuttosport: Rangnick to Milan – more denials arrive; something may have ‘jammed’

By Oliver Fisher -

There continues to be an abundance of speculation regarding whether Ralf Rangnick will arrive at AC Milan this summer, with every outlet seemingly having a different stance.

On Wednesday night, the agent of Rangnick – currently the Head of Football for Red Bull – said that a co-operation between Milan and his client is ‘not on the cards’ at present.

According to Tuttosport – as cited by MilanNews – the ‘marriage’ between the former RB Leipzig head coach and the Rossoneri is far from completed.

They claim that something must have been jammed, if not broken, between Rangnick and Milan. There continues to be denials both from the German and from his agent regarding rumours that he has agreed a deal already or even that it may be an option.

In addition to this, Gazidis spoke to the team on the eve of the match against Genoa and distanced the club from the rumours about Rangnick, while reaffirming his confidence in Pioli.

There has also been talk of written agreements and possible penalties to be paid in the event that the agreements were not respected, but anything can still happen, the paper concludes.
