Tuttosport: Rangnick to revolutionise Milan’s defence; Celtic, Fiorentina stars among targets

The long-awaited meeting to fix the last details between Ralf Rangnick and Gordon Singer has yet to happen, but in the meantime a number of targets have been identified.

According to the paper edition of Tuttosport on Wednesday (via MilanNews), one of the first departments that the German wants to fix is ​​the defence, where among the centre-backs there is only one immovable players and that is captain Alessio Romagnoli.

Whoever remains among Simon Kjaer, Mateo Musacchio, Leo Duarte and Matteo Gabbia will not be Rangnick’s first choice. For this reason, the Rossoneri club will have to intervene on the market to buy two new central defender.

At the moment there are three targets: Nikola Milenkovic of Fiorentina, Tanguy Kouassi of PSG and Kristoffer Ajer of Celtic.

The Serbian defender is 22 years old and already knows Serie A well. Owner Rocco Commisso does not seem willing to sell him, but Milan will certainly make an attempt since his name was brought up by Rangnick.

Kouassi – who is on a contract until the end of June – is also in the crosshairs of the Rossoneri as he does not seem willing to renew. Finally, the Diavolo want the 22-year-old old Ajer, who has been fantastic for Celtic this season.
