Tuttosport: Rangnick wants an army to join him at Milan – seven current Red Bull staff eyed

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick wants to bring an ‘army’ of collaborators with him to Milan in order to help implement his revolution, a report claims.

As Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport reports (via MilanLive), Rangnick wants full powers at Milan in the technical area, and with him he wants to bring a number of trusted figures.

Two of those are Robert Klauss and Lars Kornetka, Julian Nagelsmann’s current assistants in RB Leipzig, as well as Daniel Ackermann and Fabian Friedrich – experts in video analysis for the Red Bull football department.

Rangnick would also like Frederick Gössling to join him, a 42-year-old goalkeeper coach with a very particular method. He could share a role with Gianluigi Donnarumma’s current coach Luigi Turci, a figure whom Milan trusts blindly.

The Rangnick method is based on the ‘Vier-Augen-Prinzip’, or the principle of the four eyes. In training two trainers watch and the other two work with the team on the field, and then exchange roles.

The mentor of this principle is Daniel Belhau, possible future head of the athletic structure, complete with a special program to maintain high level intensity.

In Milanello the GPS system will also be used to analyse the physical and athletic data of the players during the sessions, and Dominik Cegla specialises in this type of work.

There are no concrete names in the scouting area at present, but Tuttosport reports that a young and talented scout will definitely arrive.
