Tuttosport: Rebic and Leao stance means Milan will sign two strikers if Ibrahimovic leaves

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will look to sign two strikers this summer if Zlatan Ibrahimovic were to decide not to renew, a report claims.

Widespread reports have suggested that Milan could be in for another mini revolution during the upcoming offseason, with the potential for changes at head coach and director level, changes which Ibrahimovic may not withstand.

According to what Tuttosport are reporting (via MilanNews), the Milan leadership are alarmed regardless by the fact that the team have scored just 28 league goals this season, as only three teams (Udinese, Spal and Brescia) have done worse.

If Zlatan were to leave the club, which is very likely, Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao would of course be considered for a sporting role but the paper claims that both would prefer to start out wide or even as a No.10 in Rebic’s case.

The eventual farewell of the Swede, therefore, would force Milan to carry out a double intervention on the market, because in each team it is a good thing to have at least two players per role.

The names that the paper goes on to mention are Arkadiusz Milik, of Napoli, Loren Moron of Real Betis and Norberto Briasco from Huracan.
