Tuttosport: Rebic edging closer to permanent Milan stay – crucial meeting on Wednesday

AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini will meet with agent Fali Ramadani to discuss a permanent deal for Ante Rebic, a report claims.

The Croatia international has scored 11 goals in the league since the turn of the year and is dragging the Rossoneri towards the Europa League.

The player arrived last summer on a two-year loan from Eintracht Frankfurt who in exchange took André Silva with the same formula.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanLive), all the parties involved – Milan, Rebic, Eintracht and Andre Silva – want things to stay the way they are. The players communicated their will to their respective agents.

Ramadani will meet Paolo Maldini on Wednesday to try and work out a deal, with the only obstacle at the moment being Fiorentina, who hold a 50% resale clause on Rebic.

Once this knot has been resolved, white smoke is expected. The idea is to close the deal through an exchange, with almost identical evaluations.
