AC Milan are interested in signing young midfielder Enzo Fernandez from River Plate and they seem to have the advantage, a report claims.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are reporting that Milan are admirers of the 21-year-old Enzo Fernandez, who has emerged as one of the brightest talents at River Plate. The Rossoneri will have to be careful of the competition from Benfica, but they have been boosted by the player’s stance.
The paper claims that the Argentine has already made it known that he prefers the idea of joining the Rossoneri above moving to the Portuguese league, so now the ball is in the court of Milan to find an agreement with all parties.
Fernandez is a versatile midfielder who can play either as a playmaker, a box-to-box type or even wide on the right if needed. He has 8 goals and 6 assists in 20 games for River this season across all competitions.
Wow, I watched his highlights and I said a go ahead. Milan should sign him, he’s very talented and can play shot outside 18.
