Tuttosport: The good and bad performances from Milan’s friendly against Valencia

By Oliver Fisher -

There was a mixed bag of ratings from AC Milan’s friendly against Valencia last night, during which the Rossoneri lost on penalties.

Milan played their fourth pre-season friendly yesterday evening, taking on Valencia away from home. The scores were 0-0 after 90 minutes and it thus went to penalties, where the Rossoneri eventually lost.

Overall, though, it was a positive display from Stefano Pioli’s men as they had several chances to take home the win in regular time. We picked out our tops and flops, but the newspapers have done the same.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that several players had a good game including the likes of Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao, Alessio Romagnoli, Fikayo Tomori, Tommaso Pobega, Mike Maignan, Daniel Maldini and Fode Ballo-Touré.

Judgement on Ante Rebic was reserved, while Samu Castillejo and Rade Krunic did not do well, the latter missing a penalty in the shootout as he shot wide of the left post.
