Tuttosport: Three reasons cited as Bonaventura looks set for Milan exit – four teams linked

By Oliver Fisher -

As it stands, Giacomo Bonaventura’s six-year spell with AC Milan will be coming to an end when his deal expires once the season is completed.

According to what Tuttosport are reporting on Wednesday (via MilanNews), Bonaventura still hopes that he has a future with Milan and that an agreement regarding a renewal can be found before July.

However, the Rossoneri are thinking differently and for this reason there are already some clubs that have made enquiries in recent weeks. Lazio are the most interested team, but Roma, Fiorentina and Napoli are also in the running, with the latter of course being managed by Gennaro Gattuso.

There are a few reasons behind Milan’s desire not to renew Jack’s contract. Firstly is his age, as he will turn 31 on August 22, and CEO Ivan Gazidis wants to focus on young players in his project.

In addition, Bonaventura has suffered several injuries in recent seasons, and finally his agent Mino Raiola does not seem to have very good relations with Elliott. Everything points towards an exit at the moment.
