Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how after the Scudetto, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa disappeared as objectives, the minimum target now is qualifying for the next edition of the top European competition.

One way of making sure Milan are in the group stage draw for next season’s Champions League is to win the current one, but that seems like a mountain to climb after the first leg defeat against Inter and the fact either Manchester City or Real Madrid would await in the final.
The other way is to seal a top four spot in the league. For a club with Milan’s ambitions, qualifying for the Champions League is absolutely vital, especially to give some consistency from an economic point of view with the revenues the competition guarantees.
