This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) talks about a ‘two-faced Milan’, one that is making great strides in the Champions League on the one hand but then on the other they are struggling when it comes to domestic competitions.
Milan are back among the top eight teams in Europe after eleven long years having finished second in a group with Chelsea, Red Bull Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb before knocking Spurs out over two legs in the last 16.
However, the same team are ‘very ugly’ in Italy, where in the league they are struggling a lot in finding consistency in performance and results. At this moment, finishing in the top four is also at risk which is the big objective for the season, while the Rossoneri exited the Coppa Italia after one game and lost the Supercoppa final.
