According to a report from MilanNews, the whole group did training at Milanello this morning including Sandro Tonali, who suffered a problem with his flexor muscle during the preseason game against Vicenza which forced him to miss the season opener versus Udinese.
Pioli has two doubts after the match against Udinese which resulted in a 4-2 win and both Ante Rebic and Brahim Diaz being stars of the show.
The first doubt is whether to play Giroud or Rebic as the centre-forward, and the second is whether to give the nod to Alexis Saelemaekers or Junior Messias as the right winger. In tomorrow’s morning training, Pioli will begin to resolve those doubts with specific training tests which should give more of a clue about the intended starting XI.
