Zlatan Ibrahimovic will soon have to make a decision regarding his future but he currently seems likely to remain with AC Milan regardless, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) have once again spoken about the future of Ibrahimovic, who is under contract until the end of the season and has battled numerous physical problems this season, but has still shown himself to be decisive with eight goals to his name.
In the coming months, the Swede will have to decide whether he will continue playing for Milan – something which seems difficult to imagine at the moment – or whether to immediately start a career as a manager/director with the Rossoneri.
For now his future is a puzzle and there are various factors that will influence his decision, but this is the style of Zlatan and there is seemingly no desire from Paolo Maldini and co. to rush him into making a call.
His playing career will depend on Sweden. If they qualify for the WC he will want to continue for another year and play with them at the WC. If they don’t there is much less incentive for him to continue and I think he will stop. So watch that space.
