The international break could bring some substantial movements in AC Milan’s planning for the future, according to a report.
In addition to accelerating for a potential double with Lille, MilanNews reports how the Ligue 1 club will also be the centre of Milan’s attention regarding the future of Rafael Leao, because there will be a meeting between them and Jorge Mendes.
Between them, they must find an agreement on how much of the compensation will be paid that Leao owes to Sporting CP, who have pursued legal action against him after he terminated his contract and moved to Lille for free in 2018.
Once the financial contribution to be paid by Leao has been defined, the latter will proceed to define his renewal with Milan. Mendes is aiming to get a fixed figure, from what he emerged last night from French sources close to Lille, the report concludes.
