Some updates have arrived regarding two of AC Milan’s injured players the day after the win over Venezia thanks to goals from Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez.
Gianluca Di Marzio recalls that Luka Jovic – who was in the spotlight thanks to his brace in the Coppa Italia – was not included in the starting lineup at the last minute due to a problem encountered during the warm-ups.

The Serbia international had initially been included among the 11 starters, before suffering a back problem, which forced him to withdraw. In his place, Tammy Abraham took the field from the first minute.
Jovic only has ‘acute lumbago’ (lower back pain), excluding more serious problems. The appropriate therapies have already begun, and he will be managed in view of the next few games. In any case, he should return within a few days and be available for the Coppa Italia final on May 14 against Bologna.
Emerson Royal is also targeting a return to the field after the right calf injury he suffered against Girona in January. The former Tottenham and Barcelona full-back is still doing individual training.
However, he should return to group training in a few days to be able to return to the field by the end of the season.

Oh boy… I wish you all the best, Mr. Royal, but please, you can return only after the end of the season, ok??
He can return and leave by then.
I’m quite worried to see him back both playing and for that matter training as I haven’t yet forgotten him tackling Jovic with the studs on the middle of his shins last time the Brazilian was fit.
Exactly. We need him fit for the last few matches, just enough that a prospective buyer takes him off our hands.

… permanent deal only!! ☀️ 😆
Well I’d be fine if he is just sold on after the season without even seeing him fielded again but I guess he will get some minutes but hopefully only towards the end of a match if we lead then. When that is said by now I assume he is now 3rd ranked after Walker and Jimenez so hopefully it will be limited if he gets some minutes if any at all.
I think everyone would agree to this one, with him back to play it will hinder jimenez growth
