AC Milan have an important date specified in the calendar: September 17th. On that day the first match of the Europa League preliminaries will be played against Shamrock Rovers in Dublin. Before then, however, the team will play two friendly matches to prepare for the clash.
Stefano Pioli wants his team to get into the best possible condition against an opponent which has already started its league campaign. Furthermore, on the 21st of September, the Serie A campaign will also begin and three days after that there will be the next Europa League preliminary in case of qualification.
To be well prepared, the Rossoneri will now play two more friendly matches. Tomorrow Milan will face Vicenza at Milanello and on Saturday they will challenge Chievo Verona at the San Siro. Two useful tests to improve the physical condition but also the technical-tactical aspects in view of official matches.
In the matches against Novara and Monza Pioli was not able to count on all of the players at his disposal, but according to Tuttosport (via milannews.it), in the next matches, he will work with the almost complete group to prepare for the match against Shamrock Rovers.
