AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli provided a fantastic response to Sky journalist Fabio Caressa when asked about motivating his team.
Pioli’s side have drawn criticism in recent weeks for a drop in the level of performances, which saw them fail to score a goal from open play in their last four games prior to last night’s win over Roma.
Caressa – who was a panelist on Sky Calcio Club – asked Pioli in a provocative and ironic way if he had put newspaper articles on the walls of the changing rooms in order to motivate the players.
The Rossoneri coach replied with a joke: “I showed them a couple of your broadcasts.” He then added that that’s not true and explained how proud he is of his boys, but it is still a response that has drawn admiration from fans.
Pioli che asfalta Caressa.
