Junior Messias was subbed off during AC Milan’s clash against Vicenza last night after taking a knock to his ankle. However, good news has arrived from the medical staff on the matter.
The Brazilian was one of the standout players for Milan last night as he managed to get on the scoresheet with a nice header. He also did well in the 1v1 duels and the pre-season has sure been a positive one for him.
Many were concerned when he had to be subbed off yesterday and with the season opener just one week away, that was always going to be the case. Fortunately, positive updates have arrived from the medical staff today.
According to Antonio Vitiello, Messias is already feeling a lot better and it has been determined that it was simply a knock to the ankle. There will be no need for further examinations, meaning he should probably make it back for the Udinese clash.
