Dusan Vlahovic is leaving Juventus and the fact that AC Milan are keen on him is not news, but a way to make it happen might have emerged.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, Vlahovic was unable to reach an agreement last Autumn to renew his contract, which expires in 2026. In the meantime, the club decided to focus on other players, with the former Fiorentina man reduced to a supporting role.

This was seen very obvious in Juve’s debut at the Club World Cup. Milan and especially Max Allegri are watching and waiting, sounding out the intentions of the player and his entourage.
Vlahovic gives green light
There is no shortage of requests for Vlahovic. Both in January and in recent days, Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce came forward and guaranteed the possibility of paying the player’s salary of €12m, the same amount the player earns today.
The problem is that the Serbian does not want to move to the Turkish league because he wants to remain among Europe’s elite. For this same reason, even the attempts from Saudi Arabia – who put a lot of money on the table – have been rebuffed.

Even if the possibility of a move Premier League could appear at a certain point – especially as an end-of-window opportunity as happened with Federico Chiesa last year – the truth is that for Vlahovic today the preferred destination is Milan.
The reason for this desire is only one: Massimiliano Allegri. With the Rossoneri, Dusan would remain at a high level and would return to work with a coach he knows very well. Here too, however, there are obstacles.
The Rossoneri would be willing to pay around €20m to sign him one year before the contract deadline, an opportunity for Juventus to cash in. The problem is represented by the player’s salary, which as mentioned is €12m net.
Milan will certainly not pay double digits in salary per year. If instead Vlahovic’s entourage accepted a contract spread over four years at €7-8m per year, then things could open up and accelerate very quickly.

If he really wants to join Alex, then he should sign maybe a 2 year contract for 7-8m per year. Then he will give the management the reason why he deserves a double digit salary through his performance within the two seasons
Not mentioning Vlahovic worth 12M/year, but the club like Galatasaray these day are richer than us. What a tragedy
I don’t want this guy at our club. He is rubbish. Saw him at Fiorentina, wasn’t blown away. Saw him at Juve, wasn’t impressed. Saw him at the Euros, not impressed. What exactly are we getting from buying this clown?
Prefer kean than vlahovic, Milan need striker that have speed and power
Couldn’t agree more… Maybe he’s good on the stats…
yeah should be 60m for Jashari because you heard his name on twitter and used him in your video game so he must be good
Vlahovic can’t even control the ball. He can’t play with another striker either. Moise Kean should have been signed from juventus last season.
The best option for Milan is to cough up the 55m for Retegui.
How many more times do you want to sign the same sort of striker over and over again and think its going to work this time.
Nobody at Milan is paying 7/8mil in wages to a single player… 4 years… 8 years… 28 years… Horse$h!+.
all the serbs i know prefer Mitrovic, he preferred Juve over us. We refuse to give 6m to Theo and Maignan. Lost Kessie, Kebabnoglu, Dollarumma for the same reason.
Milan are surely not thinking about giving this guy 8m/year, or if they are, they are even worse than I thought
