Watch: Chukwueze and Okafor each net in first half of Novara friendly

By Oliver Fisher -

Two of AC Milan’s summer signings got their names on the scoresheet for the first time in preseason as Stefano Pioli’s side went in 2-1 up at the break against Novara.

Milan took the lead less than 10 minutes in. A poor throw in from Novara saw Noah Okafor win ball back from the receiver and put Chukwueze one-on-one with the goalkeeper. The Nigerian rounded him and put it in for his first preseason goal.

Around six minutes later it was 2-0, and Okafor got himself off the mark in preseason. A cross from Romero was nearly buried by Chukwueze for his second, but was well saved and Okafor was able to tuck in a simple rebound.

  1. 3-1 74 minute mark with team that finished 10th in series c…lol what more can I say. Wait…Furlani the best CEO thank you for making our club the best club in Italy and I am sure we will once again win the scudetto and the champions league especially with the best midfield in the world and let’s not forget the world class striker…lol

      1. My problem is we are just over a week out and we have yet to field a full strength squad for 75% of the game! If you think beating a serie c side by 2 goals is a success well…I don’t know what to say! Furthermore, we have a new midfield who have never played together and never played in serie a. So yes I have a problem watching bankers taking over a club and sucking the soul out of this great club!
