AC Milan had shouts for a penalty during the second half of yesterday’s 2-0 defeat against Spezia when Brahim Diaz took a tumble.
There was some confusion during the game yesterday when Brahim Diaz was clearly pushed over inside the box by Salvatore Esposito – who went on to score the second goal – but the referee Doveri waved play on before booking the Spaniard for his protests, and VAR did not intervene.
There can be no doubts regarding the contact that was made, however Doveri clearly had doubts about whether it was sufficient enough to send the Spaniard to the floor.
🤔 Do you think this was a penalty? pic.twitter.com/B6R8BG9TFS

Clear foul.
That was a penalty…. It was a huge push to destabilize him.
I just hope we beat Inter to qualify for the Final. That’s our only hope for top Four
Fingers crossed! 🤞🙏
Var with referees did a lot of damages to Ac this year.
That is a pitch Cardinale should start to play with, together with investments.
Not an earth shatter foul but clearly a foul anyway. And a foul in the penalty box means a penalty kick. Penalty kick not given means a refereeing error. Again.
A pen that could’ve changed the outcome of the whole game. And yet some fans think Milan are “lucky”
Doubts should persist about us paying Madrid 20M plus for this inconsistent player who is a backup and occasional spot starter at best
He had both hands on his back in the penalty area and clearly pushed him? what more is there to say then refs dont like us
