Watch: Gabbia, Pulisic and Abraham score as Milan establish four-goal lead

It did not take long for AC Milan to assume a commanding position in their home game against Venezia, as Theo Hernandez’s early opener was followed up by a goal from Matteo Gabbia.

A corner from the left side taken by Christian Pulisic seemed to quickly ricochet at the near post and Gabbia was on hand to flick in from close range.

Moments later, a penalty was awarded for a foul on Tammy Abraham who got to a ball first but was brought down by Joronen. Pulisic took on the responsibility from 12 yards, and he sent the goalkeeper the wrong way with a composed spot kick.

Four minutes after the first penalty, Milan were awarded yet another one and this time there was even less doubt as Leao was stamped on inside the area. The spot kick was awarded after a VAR review, with Abraham taking on the responsibility and also converting calmly.
