Milan’s Primavera side took on Atalanta away from home earlier today and although they got off to a good start with an early goal, the home side worked their way back.
Nikolaos Michelis opened the scoring for Milan after just ten minutes with a lovely header, showing off great technique to get the ball into the back of the net. However, after several good chances, Atalanta found the equaliser in the second half.
Marco Frigerio then had an absolute screamer just about saved by the Atalanta goalkeeper, which was a shame since it would have been a great winner. The teams remain level on points in the standings, therefore, in 7th and 8th place.
