AC Milan youngster Kevin Zeroli headed in the winner for Italy’s U19s at the European Championship in their opening match against Norway.
The young midfielder is one of many Milan stars in the Italy team and they ended up winning 2-1 against Norway. Daniel Braut had put Norway ahead in the first half and Luca Di Maggio got Italy back on level terms.
Shortly into the second half, though, Zeroli rose highest in the box and headed a corner into the back of the net. Hosts Northern Ireland and Ukraine are the other two teams in the group with Italy.
In total, there are six Milan players in the squad which goes to show the strength of the Rossoneri’s youth sector right now, and the wealth of talent that Paulo Fonseca will be able to tap into when the season is underway.
Davide Bartesaghi, Vittoria Magni, Kevin Zeroli, Camarda, Tommaso Ebone and Diego Sia are the Milan players included.

Zeroli and Simic are the most ready Primavera players that can help the team next season.
Alex Jimenez needs to learn how to defend even a little bit, because right now he can’t defend his lunch.
Bartesaghi should be moved to a CB. He is too tall to play as a left back. He might follow the path of Calafiori, who rose to prominence once Motta started playing him as a CB.
Camarda needs to gain some muscle and strength before he can play for the 1st team. Olympiacos defenders, who were 3 years older than him, bullied him in the Youth UCL final. He is still at least a year away from being ready to play any minutes in serie A.
Superb finish. Spain have proved that it’s worth playing youngsters at the highest level as early as possible – get Zeroli and Camarda in the 1st team!
Camarda isn’t ready. He’s tall, but skinny. He needs another year at least.
Playing as striker and winger are really different- Camarda is good but really isn’t ready for first team.
With Serie C experience for 1-2 years, he will. 18 years old is about. The right time to start playing in first team more often.
Zeroli though, can start playing some minutes – he is older and more ready. Also he won’t be bullied as often in mid compared as single striker.
