It seems as though Rade Krunic was lucky to escape punishment during last night’s defeat against Inter after he appeared to lash out at Alessandro Bastoni.
As a corner came in from Inter’s left side, Krunic and Bastoni were involved in a wrestling match for position at the near post and the Bosnian midfielder did not take too kindly to the arm across his neck.
The cameras picked up what appeared to be a reaction whereby he gave the Italian defender a dig in the ribs, but VAR was never asked to review the incident.

After some of the elbows to the face we saw, this was ineed nothing.
But it doesn’t shine a very nice light on Krunic’s ability to stay cool under pressure… not behavior we need in the return leg, this is the stuff you’re used to see from Materazzi and co… wearing the blue stripes
Hitting someone is the easiest call in the game. Dumb from Krunic. Luckily was missed.
This was in line with the way the referee called the game..he let everything go…so why not. A bunch of elbows to our players jaws and missed fouls. I’d say an elbow to the ribs is about par for the course. I knew the ref was paid off, zero doubts. Krunic got a yellow for complaining and he was right. 3 fouls on our players and the first foul we made we got carded.
Dont like this. Milan is better than this. Tho bastoni had it coming, i dislike him a lot after last night
