AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis was given a standing ovation before this evening’s game against Fiorentina by the crowd at San Siro.
As was confirmed in an official statement from AC Milan on Wednesday afternoon, Gazidis will conclude his time with the club when his contract runs out on December 5, 2022. Giorgio Furlani will be taking over from that date, making this the last game that Gazidis will attend in his role, and the crowd showed their appreciation to him.

Seriously I’m gonna miss this guy. I was skeptical about him but there’s no denying he did a great job. Yes there were situations like the one that led to the sacking of Boban but still I think he did great at Milan.
