AC Milan duo Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic were in action for the USA this morning, and the latter bagged a lovely assist from a central area.
It is not unusual to see Pulisic operating centrally nowadays. In the early parts of his career he was used there sporadically, but it is becoming increasingly common under Paulo Fonseca. Gifted more space, the American can utilise his best traits, whilst still being able to shift wide if needed.
Seemingly, this change is being utilised on an international stage as well. In the opening stages of Americaโs game against Jamaica, the star picked up the ball in a central area before slipping in Riccardo Pepi.
A beautiful assist that has become the norm for the 26-year-old. At his current rate he is one of the most in-form players in Europe and there are no signs of this slowing down. He is enjoying his football, and everyone (barring the opposition) benefits from that.

Really darn good move, but it’s not suprising
Good move. It’s expected of him but still, the dribble, shot and pass was exquisite.
