Watch: Okafor scores off the bench to put the game to bed against Monza

By Oliver Fisher -

Noah Okafor got his third goal for AC Milan off the bench against Monza, putting the game to bed with a great finish from a fantastic team move.

Inside the final 20 minutes, Milan put the game to bed with a beautiful team move. Okafor had been unlucky not to score moments earlier with a curling shot that was saved, and he wasn’t to be denied a second time as Reijnders beat Akpa Akpro and fed Giroud who flicked it into the path of the Swiss forward who swept in with his right boot.

    1. The energy Okafur brought on with him was excellent. The goal was hard work to be in position.

Really bummed to see him grab his hamstring like that. Hope it’s just grabbing and not a pull.

  1. Lay off Olivier Giroud,,,I think he had a good game ..
He didn’t score ,but he help the ball up well ,and yes gave another great assist for okafar,s goal ..
Okafor looked good when he came on and added energy ,,no doubt about that ..just hope his injury is not serious,,as we need him as his form seems to be realy good …a little disappointed with Loftus cheek ,,strong in the tackle and got forward on numerous occasions,,but unfortunately gave the ball away to many times ..pulisic was a livewire and covered every inch of the pitch ,,,just hope he doesn’t burn himself out ,,another good game from forenzi ,,,defended well and full of energy throughout,,.and had 2 amazing shots on goal …Rafeo leao was lively and did create a couple of good chances ,,,but along with Olivier Giroud looked tired at the end …Great save from big Mike ,,,what a goalie he is ..reinders ,,,looked very good today ,,,in fact he is now beginning to look the part ….tomori looked steady at the back as did Theo Hernandez..
So overall a good performance and another 3 points .
We are doing well at the moment..
