Watch: Reijnders gives Milan the lead against Monza with diving header

AC Milan certainly took some time to get going against Monza, but they did get the first goal of the game thanks to Tijjani Reijnders’ header.

In the 43rd minute, Milan did get the opening goal of the contest and it came from the Dutch midfielder. A well-worked counter-attack saw Christian Pulisic launch a cross into the box where two men were waiting unmarked.

Morata’s initial header was blocked but into the path of Reijnders, who scored from a few yards out to add to his tally for the season.

    1. You mean the same Daniel Maldini who was horrendous tonight, and didn’t seem to know where the goal was located, given his wildly inaccurate finishing? That Maldini? Because, you know, he is really mediocre. The only reason he gets some attention is his last name.

Not that RLC is much better, but I don’t regret at all Milan having shipped out Maldini.

I do regret Kalulu going to Juve, though, and I also think that Colombo is at least better than Jovic and can be registered in the UEFA lists, so sending away Kalulu and Colombo make little sense to me. But Maldini? Good riddance.
