Fikayo Tomori is drawing plenty of praise for his performance during Sunday night’s crucial 2-1 win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Englishman was preferred over captain Alessio Romagnoli in what was an eyebrow-raising selection choice from Stefano Pioli, but he repaid the confidence of his coach with an excellent defensive display showing his speed and physicality.
The excellent CompsACM have compiled his best bits into a highlights video, while he was awarded our MOTM with the following comment: “There was surely a lot of pressure on the Chelsea loanee this evening as he replaced captain Romagnoli. However, it didn’t seem to bother him at all as he was fantastic on the pitch, making several key interceptions.”
