One player who has been electric during the preseason campaign has been Theo Hernandez, and last night’s win over Panathinaikos was no exception.
He almost set Giroud up for what would have been a hat-trick as he cut inside and made one of his typical darting runs in off the left towards the edge of the box, releasing a brilliant through ball to his compatriot who steadied himself well but unfortunately hit the post and therefore was unable to make it an ‘assist’.
