MN: What Milan currently stand to earn from the Champions League

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan stand to earn an incredible amount of money from their involvement in the Champions League this season having now reached the semi-finals of the tournament.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Rossoneri are going to earn at least €120 million from their participation thanks to their high gate receipts and progression to this stage.

Milan are set to get €15.6m from their participation, €14.8m from the historic ranking, €8 million from the market pool, at least €4.8 million from the second phase of the TV rights distribution, €9.3 million for group stage results, €9.6 million for reaching the Round of 16, €10.6m for the quarter-finals, and now €12.5m for the semi-finals. There is also €0.7m for the draw bonus.

Adding to all of those massive figures is the income from each match they have played. That was €14.5m for the group games, €9.1m for the Tottenham game, and then €8.5m for the Napoli game.

Overall, at least €120m will be taken home by Milan.
