When Milan will face PSV Eindhoven and how the line-up could look

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have just one friendly clash left ahead of the Serie A resumption and it’s against PSV Eindhoven away from home. It will take place on December 30th and the XI could be an interesting one.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Stefano Pioli will have to deal with quite a few injuries for the clash. The likes of Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Simon Kjaer, Rade Krunic, Junior Messias, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Divock Origi are injured.

On top of that, the likes of Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud are on vacation after reaching the World Cup final and will return on the day of the game. Rafael Leao will return tomorrow and might feature in the friendly.

The XI is a bit up in the air but based on the friendlies in Dubai, and the fact that this is the last test ahead of the resumption, we can make an educated guess. The biggest question marks are the left-back and centre-forward positions.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Mirante; Calabria (Dest), Kalulu, Tomori, Ballo-Toure (Bozzolan); Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere, Diaz (Leao); Rebic.

Kick-off is set for 18:15 on December 30th.
