The axis between AC Milan and Juventus could really heat up in the coming days, with some deals of convenience to be done.

The summer transfer window always throws up various surprises including deals between rivals. This was seen first hand one year ago, when Juventus signed Pierre Kalulu from Milan on loan, which was made permanent recently.

More Milan-Juventus deals?

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), there are many roads in the mercato that are explored. Some are obvious dead ends from early on, but others are capable of becoming ‘highways of opportunity’.

The latter applies to the possible street that could see Theo Hernández go to Juve and Dusan Vlahovic head the other way to Milan. It is described as a deal that could ‘solve two problems at once’ for the respective clubs.

Vlahovic’s price (€30m) is considered reasonable and for this reason the Rossoneri could try to exploit the renewal rift involving the Serbian. The centre-forward only has another 12 months on his deal, and the idea of a new deal seems like a utopia.

On the other hand, Theo (also has a contract expiring in 2026) rejected Al-Hilal, who would have given Milan €30m, while the negotiations between the Diavolo and Atlético Madrid did not end positively. There is no talk of a renewal, Juve like the Frenchman, and that could be the spark.

Meanwhile, the paper also mentions the possible involvement of Fikayo Tomori. The defender does not seem to be one of Massimiliano Allegri’s untouchables, but he would like to evaluate him in any case in the first few days at Milanello.

The idea of the Bianconeri is to see if the figure agreed in the winter for the Englishman could be reduced. The relationship between the two clubs is good, and that is why it is an axis to follow.

  1. There are so many conflicting reports on strikers, it is crazy. One paper says Max wants Vlahovic, one says he doesn’t. At this point, until July, we’re just going to have to see a million strikers come into our sights

  2. Please not Theo. This will bite us where it hurts! Renew the guy at current and a 1yr extension, this will surely be beneficial for both parties? Maybe also with a +1 yr option for the club. In this case we don’t have to give hime to a direct opponent
