Why Musah will not be able to make his official Milan debut against Bologna

Yunus Musah will not be able to make his official debut for AC Milan in next Monday’s game against Bologna as he will have to serve a suspension.

Musah became Milan’s eighth and most recent signing of the summer transfer window earlier this month as he arrived from Spain, and he has so far managed to get a couple of friendly appearances under his belt to try and get fully up to speed.

According to a report from our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, the former Valencia player must in fact serve a one-match ban dating back to last season.

Musah was sent off on the last day of LaLiga season in the 1-1 draw between Real Betis and Valencia, and that suspension carries over regardless of him moving clubs.

The new signings Tijjani Reijnders and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should instead play in Milan’s midfield, and they were always likely to be the starters anyway.

  1. So we’re not seeing Musah until late September? IF Pioli starts him vs Torino sure he can play the following games but we all know he’ll need to get up to scratch with Pioli’s tactics. I can’t see him playing vs Roma or Inter at Pioli’s pace.

    1. More worst , all super expert here suggest sell krunic with low fee 7m euro . And we will end up with reijnders – rlc as double pivot 4231 or trio midfield that weak on defense reijnders – pobega- rlc 433. We will leaked more goal than last season
